In my view, Ministry aren't "industrial" per se, but rather a rock band with industrial affectations. Same with NIN and many others. If you're looking for true industrial, check out Throbbing Gristle, SPK, perhaps Nurse With Wound, Non, Dog As Master, early Test Dept etc. That, to me, is true industrial, a term which has expanded to include many liars.

I remember this one. Was Loon request wasn't it? Regardless, such an epic piece and subtle disturbing minor/major shifts only to blow out in full havoc bloom. It certainly hits a tangent inside.

The line that gets me the most in this piece is "All I want to do is provide". That's so true it hurts. We men are purpose-built to be those providers and protectors. We're hard-wired to want and to need to be useful, to be depended upon, to find a heavy responsibility and carry it. The danger and heartache come when we are either expressly denied the opportunity to do so, go completely and totally unappreciated for it, or outright attacked and demeaned for not doing absolutely everything when we're already trying to give everything of ourselves to do it. So many times, it feels like no matter which way we go, we hit one or more of those three outcomes. We try to express what we're feeling, and we get attacked by a combination of women who don't care to understand and men who either don't understand or choose not understand because of their own pride and vanity. But the important thing to remember is that it's not *always* like that, and there absolutely are people out there who would have nothing but compassion and empathy if only they knew "what it's like to be a man." I think it's going to be alright in the end. There is always hope, my brothers.

I can only speak on my own thoughts and experience, but this song, both the original, and this mashup are waaaay too real for me. I love watching women react to this. It's reassuring in a way. There's something about the raw emotion that this song brings out in everyone, but specifically from women, that exposes the fallacies in the way I've been programmed to think. You seem like a great wife.
